Red Boiling Springs Celebrates Opening of New BlueCross Healthy Place
Residents of Red Boiling Springs gathered for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of the BlueCross Healthy Place at Old Lake Road Park.
Promoting Healthy Activity
The City of Red Boiling Springs applied for the BlueCross Healthy Place grant to revitalize an existing community space. City officials wanted to give residents a place in town to play and enjoy healthy activity. The BlueCross Foundation invested just over $1 million in the project, which features accessible play areas, a fitness station and a challenge course.
